UNi 100% Pure Argan Oil
With cold weather comes the need for heavier moisturizers for both face and hair, lighter shades to match paler skin, as well as different, less-drying makeup formulations. Among my fave products [listed above], here is a little about the new ones featured:
Vouray Night Skin Repair Lotion
I’ve never used an intensive night cream until I tried this, and am so glad I did! This stuff works wonders overnight, without breaking out sensitive skin [like mine], and helps quickly repair and fade scar tissue, sun damage, etc. Mild [barely noticeable] scent and dye-free.
[I received the product mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.]
L’Oreal True Match Foundation [W1] .
I have a very hard time finding a good medium-to-full coverage foundation during the cold months- they’re either the wrong color and/or consistency, are too drying, make me break out, or don’t stay put, among a million other problems. The True Match foundations are creamy, apply evenly, cover spots very well, and are available in a bunch of shades and tones [try to find that in any other drugstore brand!]. Having been available in stores for several years now, L’oreal is obviously doing something right with this tried-and-true makeup!
Manic Panic Supernatural Pressed Powder [Spectral] .
One of the biggest cosmetic problems I have in the middle of winter is finding a pressed powder that isn’t too dark on me. For such an occasion, in addition to seeking a Goth-white complexion, I find my favorite ghostly pale shades in cool Manic Panic compacts.
UNi 100% Pure Argan Oil
Not only does the cold air suck the moisture out of our skin, but our hair as well. I like to mix a few drops of argan oil with my leave-in conditioner to keep my strands healthy and shiny, and recommend it to everyone with dyed and/or curly hair, during all times of the year. UNi’s 100% pure Moroccan argan oil is great. Try mixing some with your favorite body lotion after a shower too!
