It’s almost officially summer in the northern hemisphere, and for you makeup geeks, you know what that means- it’s time to go a little lighter on the face paint [lest it turn into a melted mess]! But that doesn’t mean you still can’t have fun with bold colors….
What’s in my makeup bag:
Studio Gear CC Cream SPF 20 [Linen].
Smashbox High Definition Concealer [Fair].
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder [001 Transparent].
Revlon Bronzing Face Powder [01 Bronze on Bronze] – discontinued, sorry!
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
Urban Decay Ammo Eyeshadow Palette
Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes
Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer [600 Nude Eclipse].
Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick [Poe].
Depending on the occasion, I’ll either go for a barely-there look, using the ‘natural’ looking eyeshadows and Rimmel lipgloss, or, for a very bold look, I’ll use blacks, reds, and/or pinks on my eyes and whip out my beloved new deep indigo Kat Von D lipstick [which I picked up in NYC].
I really love the Revlon bronzer because it contains three different shades, which you can blend or use individually to bronze, highlight, and/or blush, and this stuff will last me all summer and adapts to my various shades of tan [or lack thereof]. It’s super handy when you’re traveling and only have so much space in your makeup bag! [After all, it’s not very efficient to carry my entire toolbox with me! LOL]
Have you tried any of these products? What do you think of them?
