Like the other Brita systems, it reduces chlorine taste and odor for cleaner, great-tasting water. But there are a bunch of new features included in this pitcher design..
The most obvious difference is the filter- instead of filtering water before it’s ready to be poured, it filters as you pour, 10x faster than the old design. This change also leaves more room in the pitcher for water and ice, even with the new sleeker shape that takes up less space in the fridge. It also has an electronic meter on the lid to help you track the lifespan of your filter.
This pitcher comes in multiple colors -red, teal, white and grey- so those of us who like to match our kitchen appliances, utensils, etc. have some options to choose from.
I also love that it has a ‘controlled pour’ so I’m not dumping it all over myself when I fill my water bottles.
I really love this super-efficient system and recommend it to everyone who prefers to filter their water and has an older model. There is no need to wait for the pitcher to fill- it all happens as you pour it.
Have you tried the new Brita Stream yet? What do you think?
