Sagittarius-Capricorn birthday ~ Cusp of Prophecy
Today is the first day of the last year of my twenties.. Twenty-fracking-nine!
Hello, I’m K.
I’m a Sagittarius-Capricorn [born today, on the Cusp of Prophecy], a Three [The Achiever], and Life Path number One [Leadership]. I work hard, and I play hard. Often at the same time.
Today I feel more of a need to keep this blog than I did at this time last year, and the year before [when I was debating starting it]. Today I feel a stronger sense of purpose than I did last year, and the year before. And the desire to be heard.
Today I am no longer afraid of speaking [and writing] what’s on my mind. Perhaps I am now inclined to say more.. Obligated to tell the cold, hard truth.
I’ve come a long way in the last year- dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of a life-long debilitating disorder, and shifting my career path toward things more suitable to my condition, which allows me to live more freely, at my own pace.
And as for this website, I’ve already achieved more than I initially thought possible for a personal [alternative] style blog. [In just one year??] This has made me reconsider my goals and hopes for the future, and, naturally, I’ve already begun working toward them..
Now, it wasn’t my birthday that got me started on all this -it’s something I’ve been pondering for quite some time now- it’s just the date gave me a reason to reflect and talk about it all.
A big part of living a successful life, whatever it may be, is the ability to adapt to change, to remold yourself as needed as time goes on and situations change. Versatility is the key to survival in a cutthroat world. No matter where you come from, or your situation, you absolutely must be flexible and willing to change/improve- it’s a necessary part of growing, learning, and maturing.
And especially in my line of ‘work’, versatility is ridiculously important!

What I’m wearing:
1D Summer Love, Nobody Compares, & Tell Me A Lie eyeshadows
Rimmel ScandalEyes Retro Glam mascara
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick 663 Va Va Violet
This year my hair has been a braided mohawk, straight, cherry blossom pink, lavender-white, and now my [natural] blonde, shorter than I’ve ever had it in my life! I’ve been having a lot of fun cutting, dyeing, and styling lately. I’ve worn every color you can imagine on my face, as well as my nails. I’ve added several new tattoos to my collection. And in my ‘down time’, I’ve had plenty of cool DIY clothing projects..
Fortunately, this seems to have had a big hand in opening me up for opportunities for brand and artist collaborations, etc, and I’d like to think that is pretty cool. I would not be able to experience all this [past, present & future] had it not been for the work I’ve put into this blog over the last year [and continue to do so..].
Things are always changing over here, often for the better. Onward and upward, right?
I’m really looking forward to what the days ahead have to offer, and not so worried about that ‘dreaded adult milestone’ just yet. After all, I’m still a kid at heart- I have a lot of time for ‘growing up’..
To new adventures!
